This tropical kind of wood is mainly found in Burma and India. The sapwood is white to pale yellow, while the heartwood is dark golden-brown without marks.  Including the power of nature Teak is an extremely hard kind of wood which makes it difficult to be processed by machinery, while it is easier to be processed by hand tools.

Its resistance to breaking is really high, while it has moderate strength in bending, impacting and tearing!  It also has high fire and acid resistance! It is completely resistant to humidity and is not affected by microorganisms.  Due to its strength and resistance in scratches, as it can’t be affected by wheel furniture or heavy objects it is mainly used for flooring and in the shipbuilding and construction industries in our Country.
